Data Sources
The happiness data are from the 2026 World Happiness Report (Helliwell et al. 2026), the yarn shop data are from DeBruine’s 30 Day Chart Challenge 2022.
The Happiest and Least Happy Countries
The happiest country was Denmark and the least happy was Afghanistan.
Does yarn cause happiness?
We plotted data comparing the number of yarn shops against countries’ happiness scores for 2022, the only year we have yarn shop data.
